Galito’s Mnandi Meal Deal Till Slip Competition – Terms and Conditions

By entering this competition, all participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1. Competition Details
   • Organizer: The organizer is Galito’s, with its registered office at Midrand Business Park, Block 4, 563 Old Pretoria Main Road, Midrand, Johannesburg, Gauteng, 1685, South Africa.
   • Competition Period: The competition runs from 10 November 2025 until 31 January 2026. Entries received after the closing date will not be considered.
   • Prize: There are 200 JBL CHARGE6 Bluetooth speakers (black or red) to be won — one winner per participating Galito’s restaurant. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
   • Eligibility: The competition is open to residents of South Africa and Lesotho, aged 18 years or older, except for directors, members, partners, employees, agents, and consultants of Galito’s and / or its Franchise Partners and their immediate families.
2. Entry Requirements
   • Purchase Requirement: To enter, participants must purchase the Mnandi Meal Deal (1 Full Chicken with 2 Chips or Pap @ R199, including a Free Sauce) at any participating Galito’s restaurant.
   • Submission: Participants must write their full name and valid telephone number on the back of the original till slip.
   • Entry Box: The completed till slip must be placed into the official competition entry box located inside the participating store.
   • Multiple Entries: Multiple entries are permitted, provided each entry corresponds to a separate qualifying purchase with its own original till slip.
   • Online Entries: For orders placed via the Galito’s App, participants must opt in to enter the competition. The entrant’s details will then be shared for inclusion in the prize draw.
3. The Draw and Winner Notification
   • Random Draw: Winners will be selected via a random draw from all valid entries. The draw will take place during the week of 10 February 2026 (date to be confirmed) at each participating Galito’s store.
   • Notification: Winners will be contacted telephonically using the number provided on the till slip.
   • Contact Attempts: Up to three contact attempts will be made over seven (7) days. If the winner cannot be reached, the prize will be forfeited, and an alternate winner will be selected.
   • Verification and Collection:
     • Winners must present a valid form of identification (e.g., ID book or driver’s license).
     • The name on the till slip must match the name on the ID.
     • Prizes must be collected in person from the relevant store within five (5) working days of notification.
     • Delivery is not included.
4. General Rules
   • Organizer’s Decision: The organizer’s decision is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the competition outcome.
   • Indemnity: Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless the organizer and its affiliates from any liability arising from participation or prize acceptance.
   • Publicity: By entering, winners agree to participate in promotional activities, and consent to the use of their name and photograph in related marketing material without additional compensation.
   • Disqualification: Entries that do not comply with these terms and conditions will be disqualified. The organizer reserves the right to disqualify entries in the event of fraudulent activity or non-compliance.
   • Amendments: The organizer reserves the right to amend or update these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
   • Data Protection: Personal information will be used solely for the administration of this competition and for future marketing purposes, in line with Galito’s Privacy Policy. Participants may opt out of marketing communications at any time.
5. Exclusion of Liability
   • Responsibility: The organizer is not responsible for entries that are lost, damaged, incomplete, or delayed due to technical or human error.
   • Risk: Participation is at the entrant’s own risk. The organizer will not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or death arising from participation or the acceptance of a prize.

Updated Section 5: Exclusion of Liability

• Responsibility: The organizer is not responsible for entries that are lost, damaged, incomplete, or delayed due to technical or human error.
• Prize Condition: The organizer will not be liable for any defect, malfunction, damage, or loss relating to the JBL Bluetooth speakers once they have been handed over to the winners. Any issues relating to product performance or warranty must be directed to the manufacturer or supplier.
• Risk: Participation is at the entrant’s own risk. The organizer will not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or death arising from participation in the competition or the acceptance of a prize.
